Women's Soccer Tops Virginia
Wesleyan, 3-2, in Double-Overtime

Samantha Ciccone (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.)
tallied three assists as Kean University played in their second
straight double-overtime match, this time defeating Virginia
Wesleyan, 3-2, Saturday evening.
Trailing 2-1 in the second half, freshman Carly Seidel
(Winslow Twp., N.J.) (pictured right) tied things up in
the 69th minute off a pass from Ciccone. The two
would connect again, this time at the 106:42 mark to solidify the
win for the Cougars (2-1-2).
Earlier sophomore Danielle Esposito (Holmdel,
N.J.) got Kean on the board at 15:26 again off an assist
from Ciccone.
Junior Leandra Russo (Galloway, N.J.) made one
save in today's action.
The Cougars will square off against FDU College at Florham on
Wednesday, September 16th at 7 p.m.
