Union, N.J. (10/12/11) – The Kean University women's soccer team battled 110 minutes to a scoreless tie with visiting Montclair State University on Wednesday evening at Kean Alumni Stadium.

After a misty, breezy matchup, the Cougars are now 9-2-2 overall while MSU stands at 8-4-1.

MSU held a 17-10 advantage in shots, while both teams were awarded seven corner kicks.

Montclair's best scoring opportunity came late in regulation as junior Rachel Senyszyn had back-to-back shots, but both were stopped by freshman keeper Kaitlin King. 

King recorded eight saves in the draw while MSU's Gina Policastro recorded four.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday as Kean hosts The College of New Jersey and the Red Hawks host New Jersey City University.
