Newport News, Va. (9/11/11) – The Kean
University women's soccer team used three second half goals
to edge host Christopher Newport University, 3-2, Sunday
afternoon.
The win improves the Cougars record to 3-2.
Kean trailed 1-0 heading into the second half before junior
Julianna Natale tied things up at 50:11 off a long

over a minute later, the Cougars took their first lead of the game
as senior Danielle Esposito hit a hard shot from
inside the box off an assist from Natale with a long ball from the
left side of the field.
The Captains (2-3) tied things at two-all at 75:44 after a scrum
in front of the cage, but the Cougars would go ahead for good a
minute later as sophomore Amanda Repko (pictured

header off a corner opportunity by junior Carly
Seidel.
Freshman Kaitlin King recorded the win in goal
