Riverdale, N.Y. (10/7/15) – The Kean University women's soccer team blanked host the College of Mt. St. Vincent by the final of 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.
In an administrative shortened affair (80 total minutes played), the Cougars used a balanced scoring attack for their sixth shutout of the season and third straight. With the win, Kean improves to 7-4-1.
Sophomore Mallory Noordeloos got things started in the 24th minute with an unassisted marker for what would be the game-winner.
Classmate Emily Jurcsek (pictured left) then added insurance with two goals in the second half, the first in the 60th minute and the final off a feed from Jordyn Bronsky at 75:44.
Senior KC Nunez made seven saves in the shutout.
Kean returns to NJAC action on Saturday when they host William Paterson University at 4 p.m.
