UNION, N.J. (3/16/22) – Kylie Giordano totaled six points on four goals and two assists as the Kean University women's lacrosse team blanked Eastern University, 20-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Amanda Ehrhart tallied six points on three goals and three assists for the Cougars who improve to 2-2 overall.
Teresa Gailey finished with four groundballs for the Eagles who remain winless at 0-4 overall.
Six other Cougars notched a point, including five points (3 goals, 2 assists) from
Sarah Wagner, four points from
Katie Pileggi (3 goals, 1 assist) and three points apiece from both
Dana Meehan and
Emily Bretschneider.
Pileggi dominated on both sides of the ball with eight groundballs and seven caused turnovers.
Pileggi and Giordano each notched a hat-trick in the opening stanza as the Cougars scored 11 goals in the opening half.
Nicole Peters made two saves in 45 minutes of work.
