UNION, N.J. (4/2/22) – Amanda Ehrhart notched a career-high five goals as the Kean University women's lacrosse team rolled to a 15-6 victory over DeSales University on Saturday afternoon.
Katie Pileggi totaled six points on four goals and two assists for the Cougars who improve to 5-4 overall. Tess Rodgers finished with four points on three goals and one assist for the Bulldogs who fall to 4-6 overall.
Kylie Giordano netted a hat-trick along with two goals apiece from
Amanda Brzoska and Ehrhart as Kean maintained a solid 11-1 advantage at halftime.
Ehrhart and Pileggi both scored twice in the second half as the Cougars increased their lead to 14-3 with 9:18 to play.
DeSales scored five goals in the final quarter, which cut their deficit before the final buzzer.
Giordano totaled four points on three goals and one assist, while Brzoska finished with four points on two goals and two assists.
Dana Meehan added three points on two assists and one goal.
Emily Bretschneider totaled seven groundballs, five caused turnovers, and five draw controls.
Nicole Peters and
Sydney Koch combined for six saves in 60 minutes of work.
