UNION, N.J. (9/7/2022) – Laura Stump totaled five points on two goals and one assist as the #9 Kean University field hockey team rolled to a 5-1 victory over Arcadia University on Wednesday evening.
Stump and
Ja'Carra Jackson each notched assists for the Cougars who improve to 2-1 overall. Caeley LeTersky scored the lone goal for the Knights who fall to 1-2 overall.
Stump scored twice and
Kelsey Corbett scored once as the Cougars maintained a 3-0 halftime advantage.
After Arcadia opened the second half with a goal,
Maddison Gonzales and
Jorja Hibschman added insurance goals to push the Cougars back to a 5-1 advantage with less than 10 minutes to remaining.
Peyton Mann recorded eight shots, while Gonzales posted three.
Jenna Flemings made eight saves in 60 minutes of work.
