UNION, N.J. (10/14/23) – Peyton Mann scored the game-winner in the 64^th minute to lift the #13 Kean University field hockey team (8-4) to a 3-2 comeback victory over #11 University of Lynchburg on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!

• Kean struck early when Caroline Pease scored on a Mann cross at the post for the 1-0 lead in the fourth minute.
• The Hornets jumped ahead 2-1 with back-to-back goals in the 41^st and 48^th minutes.
• The Cougars found the equalizer in the 54^th minute when Pease notched her second goal of the afternoon on a high arcing tap that was fed in by Morgan Stump.
• In the extra session, Mann tapped in a Jorja Hibschman blast at the far post.
