Misericordia Tops Baseball

Dallas, Pa. (3/25/25) – The defending national champions won the battle of the ranked Cougars by the final of 8-5 on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

#16 Misericordia (14-6) jumped out to an early 5-0 lead aided by three Kean miscues.

MU pushed the lead out to 8-1 in the fourth with five singles.

Tyler Stone lofted a solo homer in the seventh before Kean added three more in the ninth. Stone added another RBI in the ninth on a bases loaded hit-by-pitch while Kyle Adorno and Justin Teixeira added RBI singles.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Adorno was 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored while Matthew Del Sol was 2-for-5 with a double.

UP NEXT:

Kean hosts St. Joseph's College Long Island on Thursday afternoon.
