Madison, N.J. (3/19/26) – The Kean University softball team collected their second straight doubleheader sweep topping Drew University this afternoon.

Kean 3, Drew 1 (Game One)

The Rangers plated a single run in the fourth on an RBI double to take a 1-0 lead.

Kean quickly erased the deficit as Hailey Kilpatrick led off the top of the fifth with a double.  She and Ashley Weber (who reached on a single of her own) would later both score as Samantha Raymond doubled to left.  Gina Mahlik added the Cougars third run of the inning with an RBI single.

Mahlik and Rielynn Carey were each 3-for-4 as Kean collected 11 hits in the win.

Nikki Lusnia improved to 5-4 in the circle with the complete game win.  She allowed just three hits and struck out eight.

Kean 4, Drew 1 (Game Two)

Kean scored first in the nightcap as Mahlik registered an RBI double while Carey recorded an RBI groundout.

The Cougars made it 3-0 in the fifth as Raymond lofted a sac fly.

The Rangers erased the deficit in the sixth with a single run before Kean rounded out the scoring in the seventh as Kilpatrick singled home Carey.

Mahlik was 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Raymond earned the win after a complete game effort.  She allowed five hits.

Kean travels to DeSales University on Sunday.
