Women's Lacrosse Falls in California

Redlands, Cali. (3/11/07) - The Kean University women's lacrosse team lost their first game of the 2007 season, falling to the University of Redlands, 15-13, Sunday afternoon.

The Cougars, who trailed, 8-4, at the half, rebounded by outscoring their opponent, 9-7 in the second half, but it was not enough, falling just short.

Senior Gio Buono (Plainsboro, N.J.) tallied seven goals while Stephanie Cirino (Warminster, Pa.) recorded three goals, freshman Ashley Reynolds (Old Bridge, N.J.) registered two goals and freshman Julie Bachovchin (Piscataway, N.J.) had one.

Kean returns back to the east coast and will continue their schedule with their home opener on Saturday, March 17, taking on Neumann College.
